Your Russian Pronunciation Learning Path

The 20 episodes are cumulative — each one assumes you’ve mastered the last. This path groups them into five stages so you always know what to do next.

How to use this path

  • Go in order. Skipping ahead breaks the cumulative logic of the course.
  • Repeat out loud every time the native speaker prompts you — silent listening won’t fix your accent.
  • Drill with the “Exercises Only” audio on each episode page once you’ve done the full lesson.
  • Use the checkpoints. Don’t pass the Episode 10 midterm or Episode 20 final until you’re comfortable.
Stage 1

Foundations

Episodes 1–3

Build the muscle memory the rest of the course leans on. Don’t rush — everything after this assumes you’ve nailed these.

Stage 2

Fluency & Core Sounds

Episodes 4–8

Add a fluency technique, then attack the sounds English speakers find hardest.

Stage 3

Consonants in Depth + Midterm

Episodes 9–10

Understand voicing, then test everything so far before moving on.

Stage 4

The Tricky Letters

Episodes 11–14

Knock out the remaining individual letters that trip learners up.

Stage 5

Real-World & Mastery

Episodes 15–20

Apply it to songs, names and places, then sit the final exam.
